James Tobin
James Tobin started his commercial real estate career over 12 years ago with Brothers Commercial Brokerage, Inc. Focused primarily throughout Monmouth County, James is active in many aspects of the business including Tenant and Landlord Representation and medical office leasing.
Over a decade ago, James recognized the long-term value of establishing a presence in New Jersey’s jewel of the shore, Long Branch. Today, he focuses on acquiring land assemblages for developers as well as providing and implementing strategies for investor acquisitions. James has single handedly sold and leased more commercial property throughout Downtown Long Branch than any other brokerage firm combined.
On the office side, he has exclusively represented both individual practitioners as well as groups with either the disposition or acquisition of medical office space. In the last year, James has sold over 40,000 sqft of medical space and procured several long-term multi-year lease deals. He also exclusively represents Sovereign Bank with the disposition of their corporate space throughout Central New Jersey as well numerous other landlords.
Keeping with the expertise and dedication to the Monmouth County Real Estate Market, James represents the 100,000 sft shopping center to the single store in a downtown shopping district. His understanding of each local market provides tenants with a superior advantage with site location selection. He has represented both local and national tenants.
He attended Rutgers University where he studied Political Science. In business, James finds hidden value and re-positions troubled assets into performing properties for investors. The same principles are consistent with his personal life; he is a member of the Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs with his own rescued dog.
